WHAT?	ACADEMY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LABOR MARKET RESEARCH MODULE 8: EVALUATION OF ACTIVE MEASURES USING PROPENSITY SCORE MATCHING TECHNIQUES
WHY?	The aim of this module is to upgrade module 5 “STATA program – basics of use ” with a special focus on the Propensity Score Matching technique (pairing by preferences) of evaluation of active employment measures. The training is focused on the most widely used method of evaluating active employment measures, about which is very little known among practitioners. The focus on the PSM method provides basic knowledge on conducting a step-by-step analysis of matching samples of the target and control group of persons and describing the method of assessing average effects.
WHO?	This module of the “Academy for the Improvement of the Labor Market Research” is intended for employees in public services / employment offices who prepare and analyze data, especially evaluations of active employment measures, redesign measures, or design of completely new employment programs. Having in mind the specifics of the training in terms of the performers of these tasks in the services, the technical preconditions for its implementation, the number of participants will be up to 10 participants.
