According to the number of inhabitants, Tuzla Canton is the most populous canton in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and occupies 10.17% of the area of the Federation of BiH and 5.18% of the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tuzla Canton, according to the latest data has about 445,000 inhabitants, which is about 20% of the population of FBiH.
The aim of this research is to collect data on employment in 2021 and employment needs in 2022, and on labor market developments in Republika Srpska, and the focus in this thematic report is on employers operating in the territory covered by the Banja Luka Regional Office.
The labour market research is conducted in accordance with the Law on Employment Mediation and Unemployment Rights (“Official Gazette of Republika Srpska”, No. 30/10, 102/12 and 94/19), and the annual Work Programs of the Public Employment Service of Republika Srpska.
