According to the number of inhabitants, Tuzla Canton is the most populous canton in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and occupies 10.17% of the area of the Federation of BiH and 5.18% of the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tuzla Canton, according to the latest data has about 445,000 inhabitants, which is about 20% of the population of FBiH.
