The objective of this Module is direct work on data preparation and design of the Labor Market Research document for 2021/2022.
The Public Employment Service of Federation BiH, with the technical support of the EU funded project “Improvement of Labor Market Research”, conducts periodic examinations of the needs of employers. The training aims to prepare pollsters for the data collection process, to get familiar with the methodological aspects of the research, research tools, and the data collection process.
Part of the discussion plan: Public debate on what the FBiH Employment Strategy should be, in order to meet their expectations and needs, aims to clarify the strategic planning process, and to suggest how young people can be involved in development processes, but also how measures can be taken to help young people.
According to Article 7 of the REGULATION ON THE PREPARATION OF STRATEGIC DOCUMENTS IN THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, the Partnership implies cooperation of all levels of government in the Federation, as well as cooperation with socio-economic partners in the process of drafting strategic documents.

This activity is performed in accordance with the Law on Mediation in Employment and Unemployment Rights (“Official Gazette of Republika Srpska”, No. 30/10, 102/12 and 94/19), and the annual Work Programs of the Employment Service. The training aims to prepare pollsters for the data collection process, to get familiar with the methodological aspects of the research, research tools, and the data collection process.
Only one-third of the total number of newly employed people in 2020 are women, based on the report “Women in the Labour Market in BiH” which the BiH Labour and Employment Agency presented today in Sarajevo. The report was done as part of a European Union-funded project supporting employment services for the improvement of active measures of employment and the development of employment strategies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which the European Union has granted a 1.32 MEUR.
Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, in cooperation with the project „Improving Labour Market Research“, funded by the European Union, produced the report with the detailed statistics about the needs on the labour market, and women representation on the labour market. Over 2600 employers gave their contribution to this report, and over 80% of them are the small businesses from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The report was coordinated with Employment Services of Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska and Brčko District.
