In the period from 11.01. to 29.01.2021. The Federal Employment Service and employment services will organize a survey of employers as part of the Labor Market Survey in the Federation of BiH 2020/2021, in order to review trends and assess trends in the labor market.
On this occasion, employers are invited to respond to interviewers from employment services and participate in this survey, through an anonymous survey which is planned to include a representative sample of at least 1,200 employers (small, medium and large) from the Federation of BiH from key industries, which have five or more employees.
The whole process is supported by the project “Improvement of labor market research”, funded by the European Union, and the survey will be conducted by representatives of employment services who are professionally trained, within the project, to conduct surveys using established research methodology.
The questions from the questionnaire are mainly related to the needs of employers for labor, the most sought-after occupations and possible redundancies, dealing with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, aggravating circumstances in finding workers, employers’ opportunities to organize practical training for students and unemployed. as well as satisfaction with the services of public employment services, etc.
The obtained results will be used to improve the activities, projects, services and cooperation of public employment services with employers, as well as the development of public policies for the labor market in the Federation of BiH based on the analysis of the current situation and future trends.
The results and recommendations from the research will be presented to the public in the first quarter of 2021 through reports tailored to the business and education sector in the Federation of BiH.
